In this assignment, you will work on a presentation that identifies the essentials of spiritual guidance and ministerial ethics.
To prepare for this assignment, you will interview a spiritual leader by creating a list of questions related to spiritual guidance and ministerial ethics. The interview should focus on what this leader believes to be essentials of spiritual guidance and how he or she approaches ministerial ethics. Provide a brief summary of the interview within the presentation.
Using the interview and supporting your presentation with three to five academic sources from class readings or the GCU Library, you should design and develop a presentation of 12-15 slides with speaker notes and images in which you articulate a theory of essentials for leadership in ministry.
You should focus on principles of spiritual guidance and ministerial ethics, addressing such questions as the following:
- What are the essential characteristics of spiritual guidance?
- How should one lead as a spiritual mentor for another?
- Why is a code of ministerial ethics necessary and helpful for spiritual leaders?
- How would you develop a strategy that addresses spiritual guidance and a plan for ministerial ethics?
